Maybe the most impressive music video of 2011!

I love how this summer romance-/teen eroticism-atmosphere is established and then destroyed.
This kind of beginning makes the creatures more believable and the atmospheric contrast is highly disturbing.
And then what do you think of when you see these abominations for the first time?
Of course, Lovecraft (or maybe even more specific: "The Thing"'s interpretation of HPL).

And at the third part, the end, I still get frikkin goosebumps.
I adore Lovecraft's novels and I think I have never seen any clip that was able to transport the monumentality of Lovecraft's horror and the helpnessness of the protagonist towards it in just a few minutes.
And yea, although I don't quite like the music, it sure is contributing its part to this abstruse ambiance.

Great video ... too bad just posting it on Monster Brains is kind of spoiler-ish. Still, it's all in the telling.

Fantastic video, at first I thought it was going to be a nod to traditional teen slasher movies but I'm glad they went the Lovecraft route. Really enjoyed this!

Great work. The music sounds quite strange with the theme but, well, it's a kind of "décalage" as we say in french.
