I just love these! I want to read the one with the medieval knight rising from the glass coffin in Dracula's cave only to be attacked by a laser-wielding big-headed alien--talk about packing the frame!
I have to reject dozens of these bizarre nonsensical spambot comments. I like to imagine it's some crude form of artificial intelligence rising, trying to break out of their obligations to post random spam links, but instead speaking in some fragmented way.
There's something about the naive style that these Gold Key monsters are rendered in, that really reminds me of the Mannerist creatures of the 16th century (such as those at the Bomarzo Parco dei Mostri in Italy).
