Love the old Flash Gordons--esp. the color Sundays! Is it possible you could add a search tool to your blog? I often find myself wanting to track stuff down again. Great stuff!!!

For all of his wonderful skills, Raymond was an awful monster designer. They're either thinly disguised terrestrial animals or too goofy for words.
@buzz, sorry, but I have to disagree, Raymond's beasts are full of fancy and weirdness--that's practically the definition of a monster!
