Merry Krampus!

That's right, it's that time of the year again. All the fortunate people in Europe where the day is celebrated get to dress up like demons and carry around torches and chains.

All pictures recently uploaded to flickr. There's a great set of pictures from a recent Krampus parade here.

Uggghhhh! I hate Christmas so, so much. Why can't we dress up as scary demons and scare the bejesus out of little brats here, in Amerrica? I'm raising my kids with this.

Hell yeah, we need more people like you to get this party rolling.

I can't believe there isn't a single American town where this isn't celebrated. We need to change that!

*sigh* too cold for krampus. It would be truly awesome to get it going.

If you can't get to Europe to partake in the festivities, there is a company called Fez-o-Rama that is making a special Krampus Fez this year, so at least you can be at the vanguard in keeping the tradition alive. You can see it here: http://fez-o-rama.blogspot.com/2009/12/krumpus-fez.html .
