Monster Brains Is 3

Monster Brains turns three years old today. I can't even imagine the amount of time I've devoted to this place in all the hours researching imagery, hunting down all those bizarre monstrous pictures. But it's been worth it and the best is still to come.

And today I post my own artwork, a small fragment of a much larger image called The Battle Of Blix.

Your sight is great and your art is astonishing. I really dig the Eraserhead-in-Hell atmosphere of many of them.

God save your Monstrous Brains and long may they reign over us.

- I'm glad to hear that, there is enough great stuff out there to keep you going for ever! Keep up the good work! I check out MB a few times a day. - Happy Birthday. Paul Rumsey.

It's a plain and simple truth that the Web needs Monster Brains.

Where else can one discover the etched horrors of our past twitching and gibbering next to the digital visions that will shape our future terrors? Nowhere as richly researched or fiercely maintained as Monster Brains.

It's through Aeron's commitment to his own craft that we're able to share in these delicious aberrations plucked out of the aether of the Net.

Now, on to another three years!

Congratulations!

I am Brazilian guy (and I don´t speak any word of English, I am trying hard to leave this comment here) and I have visited this blog since more than a year.

I just have to thank you!
(and I apologize for the bad English, the worst English in this world)

haha, is the name inspired by Legend by any chance? anyways, this is a great piece - I've been subscribed (via RSS) to Monster Brains for at least half a year now and the stuff you can create & dig up never ceases to blow my mind. thanks for keepin' it up!
