I stumbled across these while browsing through a search string of "disturbing sculptures" on flickr. The lower picture titled "One of Us on a Tricycle" sculpted in bronze from 2006 was found here.
Update - Turnheron mentioned the name of the artist being Steven Gregory and posted a great link to more photos from these odd sculptures.
