I can't tell you how happy this post has made me. I used to spend hours pouring over his Guide To Extraterrestrials. I'm so thrilled to know he's still out there making amazing art.
I've been a huge fan myself for many years. I've got no less than 6 books by Barlowe, even have a StarWars pop up book he did from the 80's that my brother picked up in some used bookshop. Barlowe's Inferno is one of the most inspiring ongoing works of art being made today. I hope the book continues on into a trilogy and that we have hundreds of more imaginative paintings from it to come.
