
Here is one of many incredible illustrations taken from Lewis Caroll's "Through the Looking-Glass And What Alice Found There" (1871). "The illustrations helped to make John Tenniel famous; less well-known is that the pictures were engraved (in order to print them) onto wood by the Dalziel brothers."
