Daniel Martin Diaz
Diaz creates esoteric imagery that incorporates strange symbols and surreal characters.

I haven't had much luck finding a website of Colin Batty's work but I did find this great painting he did of a group of colorful demons tormenting a religious man.

Scott Teplin

From intricately designed rooms layed out in sims like patterns to some of the most disturbing mouth drawings I've ever seen, and on to pink icing donuts, Scott has a wide variety of unusual imagery. There is a great selection of his many drawing and painting series on his site, many of which have been collected into original one of a kind books. And Scott, I really love your work but man are those some dank ass mouths!

Sean P Aaberg AKA Goblinko
Many a monster, mutated wrestler, cartoon freak and demonic fighter has been conjured by Goblinko. Make sure to check out the 2nd gallery as there you'll find the widest selection of his work, at least until his webstie is back in running order?

Brendan Danielsson
Apart from running the Artdorks site, Brendan has made some very unusual paintings and drawings of people and monsters. The faces of the people in his imagery appear like halloween masks, with warped structures and strange colored noses and ears. Also, I can't think of another artist who does a better job painting or drawing hair then Brendan.

The Temptation of St Anthony

This subject has been painted as well as etched by many interesting artists over the centuries. From the earlier etchings of Shongauer to Bosch's elaborate triptych and recently with Ernst and Dali's versions, The Temptation of St Anthony has given each artist the chance to express some of their strangest fantasies.

Salvador Dali
Pieter Brueghel The Elder
Jan Brueghel The Elder

Gunsho - Demonology
"Gunsho is undertaking an intensive effort to create modern interpretations of the 72 demons of the Goetia and other works of demonology, to be completed by the end of 2006. Each demon will be the subject of a print, and the series is to be titled DEMONOLOGY."

Anatoly Timofeevich Fomenko
This gallery contains a large selection of surreal landscapes and characters. Most if not all of the work is symbolic of some mathematical equation similar to M.C Escher's drawings.

Click here to see a couple of Fomenko's best works.

Rob Sato
Some very unusual creatures and a short comic about "a girl afflicted with a supernatural eating disorder." Sato's paintings of abstracted monster things are some of the best I've seen in awhile.

M.Hutter
This gallery contains a very peculiar mix of erotic art alongside imagery of monsters. There's a great selection of color paintings, ink drawings and even digital photo manipulations. This is one of my favorite images from the site.

Heinz Zander
The fantastic paintings of Zander reveal a world of humans coexisting with bizarre beasts and human hybrids. The work has some similarity in style to that of José Hernández.
The site seems to have no English version but it is easy enough to navigate through. Check out the link at the top titled "Verkaufsausstellung " and click on Zander's name in the upper left to see a few more of his paintings.

Thanks for suggesting this artist to me, Fufu!

Oleh Denysenko
The detailed etchings of Oleh contain figures wearing very fantastic armor. Much of the armor has fragments of architecture, making some of the figures appear as much like surreal buildings as people. On the second page of the gallery there is a smaller selection of sculptures made by the artist, all equally as unusual as his etchings.

You will find another work by Oleh in the top right image of this gallery.

Roberto Matta
One of my favorite artists, Matta's paintings are jammed full of insane fragmented architecture and landscapes. Human like characters are abstracted to the point of resembling their machinery and architecture like surroundings. This is one of the best online resources for an artist. There are over 1,000 images, all of them in great quality.
