Todd Freeman Etchings

The following text is the inspiraiton for the above etching by Todd Freeman..

"1922 Margate, South Africa
"Trunko" was seen battling a pair of whales according to a 1922 newspaper report. In one account he lived, in another his body lay unexamined for a few days before being washed out to sea. Today's accepted belief is that trunko was most likely a decaying, stringey carcass that the two whales were 'playing' with. Or a giant, elephant trunked crustacean. "
