Eric Kincaid

There is unfortunately very little information or examples of this artist online. He is responsible for illustrating many children's books focusing on nursery rhymes and fairy tales. I believe most if not all of the above artworks come from a book titled "Eric Kincaid's Tales of Magic and Mystery" which is described in the following quote... "Written and illustrated by Eric Kincaid. Pub: Brimax Books, Newmarket, England. 1980. Every page covered in full colour illustrations, into which the text is inserted. Extremely well drawn in a 30's style reminiscent of Lord of the Rings. 30 stories. Some from abroad including Denmark. Illustrations look like some fantastic mythical computer game." - quote source.

The Thing, The Black Cauldron, Caveman, Return To Oz and Ralph Bakshki's "Wizards" are some of the films comic artist Mike Ploog has worked on. He's also worked on the animated Heavy Metal film, he's listed as a designer for the segment involving zombie WW2 bombers "B-15" written by Dan O'Bannon. His comic work includes the 1970's version of Marvel's "Man-Thing" and "Monster of Frankenstein" series.

Joe Jusko

Here are some pulp fantasy paintings from Joe Jusko. Look on this page to find a cover he did for the November 79 issue of Heavy Metal magazine. He's made a lot of illustrations for stories by Edgar Rice Burroughs such as Tarzan and John Carter of Mars. You can see more paintings by Jusko at this gallery or his official site.
