Pooch
Detailed paintings of monsters, devils, skeletons, spookhouses and other midway attractions. Pooch's site design is especially cool as it's set up like one big amusement park. His painting style is similar to Todd Schorr and Dan Seagrave

ATTABOY
The majority of Attaboy imagery seems to focus on creating abstracted forms then putting a weird monster face on em. His Transparent Fungus series is particularly interesting with great color combinations. Also, his style of inking reminds me of Ralph Steadman. I guess I could say Attaboy is like the spookhouse version of Ralph Steadman.

Theodor Seuss Geisel aka "Dr Seuss"
Someone who needs no introduction, Dr Seuss has been one of the greatest inspirations in my own art. His images are always filled with strange landscapes and architecture, bizarre factory machines and more weird looking creatures then you can shake a stick at.

David Sandlin
The best way I can describe Sandlin's paintings is as dream landscapes. There is a distortion in the perspective of objects and a warped atmosphere that would only make sense in a dream.

Leyla Goormaghtigh
I discovered Leyla's art in an issue of Juxtapoz from a few years back that was dedicated to black and white art. It was a drawing of hundreds if not thousands of small creatures and weird faces spread across a single image. You can see a selection of drawings like these in the gallery, although the samples are too small to make out the drawn imagery, there are zoomed in sections that you can check out. The paintings follow a less complicated path although the bizarre creatures from the drawings are still there to be seen.

Roland Topor
Apart from having made some incredibly weird drawings, Topor is responsible for having been involved in the creation of some of my favorite films. He's credited as writer and graphic designer on Rene Laloux's "Fantastic Planet" as well as the novel "The Tenant" that became Roman Polanski's film of the same name.
